Taormina, nicknamed by the German writer Göethe the “Pearl of the Ionian Sea” is really a treasure chest of colors, where tradition and elegance come together to radiate a unique appeal. The visit includes a walking tour along the main street, Corso Umberto, where three squares open on to: Piazza Duomo, Piazza IX Aprile and Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. The Public Garden and the Ancient Theater are two emblems of the city’s glorious past, topped off by a sweeping view over the bay of Naxos and Etna. The alleys with flowery balconies and breathtaking views are just the frame to this colorful painting that was the backdrop of the successful series “The White Lotus”.

After that we will continue towards Castelmola, a small village a few kilometers from Taormina, from which you can admire a view of Taormina as if we were on a drone. We will walk through the narrow alleys of the village until we reach the main square.
