Hi, let me introduce myself, I’m Valentina, your tourist guide to Messina. I have been a qualified guide since 2014 but before this milestone since 2010 I worked as a tour escort. I am also sommelier with Italian license and Wset 1 and 2 in English.
In addition to English, I speak French and Spanish, but my studies are focused on the history of art, archeology and anthropology I graduated in 2009 in Rome at the “Tor Vergata” university; in fact my tours are focused on art, history, culture, food and wine traditions, taking advantage of all the knowledge accumulated in the last 20 years.
I really like traveling, cooking and creating objects by hand. These are passions that I inherited from my mother and my grandmother, of Roman origin.

“Stoccu ’a Missinisi” is a true guilty pleasure! It’s one of the most delicious dishes in Sicilian cuisine. “Stoccu” is stockfish – rich in protein, vitamins, iron, and calcium salts.
